Policies and Disclosures
Welcome to Mayor Health MD. We are committed to providing transparent, patient-centered care. Please review the following policies which apply to all consultations, services, and products provided through our platform.
1. Medical Consultations
All consultations—whether for weight loss, hormone management, or general health—are conducted by licensed healthcare professionals.
Consultations are non-refundable, even if a patient is not eligible for a prescription or chooses not to proceed with recommended treatment.
The consultation fee covers the provider’s time, clinical review, and any applicable prescriptions, if medically appropriate.
A consultation does not guarantee a prescription will be issued.
2. Prescription Medications
We partner with Empower Pharmacy and other accredited 503A/503B compounding pharmacies to fulfill prescriptions.
Medications are only dispensed after a licensed provider determines medical appropriateness based on your health information and consultation.
Once a prescription has been transmitted to the pharmacy, changes or cancellations are not permitted.
Medications cannot be returned or refunded once dispensed due to federal health and safety regulations.
3. Weight Loss & Supplement Products
All weight loss products, supplements, or compounded injectables are for individual use only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure disease unless explicitly stated.
Usage instructions must be followed as prescribed. Results may vary.
Products may include, but are not limited to: GLP-1 analogs (e.g., semaglutide, tirzepatide), lipotropic injections, and nutritional support.
All sales of supplements and compounded medications are final.
4. Refund and Return Policy
No refunds are provided for:
Completed medical consultations (telehealth or in-person)
Prescription medications once dispensed
Custom or compounded products
Refunds may be issued only in cases of:
Duplicate charges
Service cancellation prior to provider review
Pharmacy shipment errors (subject to pharmacy policies)
To request a refund under eligible conditions, please contact our support team at [Your Email or Contact Page] within 7 days of the transaction.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Missed appointments or same-day cancellations are not eligible for refunds.
Late arrivals may result in shortened or forfeited sessions at the provider’s discretion.
6. Disclaimer
All health information provided through our site or consultations is intended for educational and clinical guidance purposes only.
You must be 18 years or older (or provide documented parental/guardian consent if applicable) to use our services.
The information provided does not replace a primary care relationship and should not be used in emergency situations. Call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room for urgent issues.
7. Privacy and HIPAA Compliance
We are fully compliant with HIPAA and applicable federal/state regulations.
Your medical information is protected and only shared with pharmacies and healthcare providers involved in your care.
